		sanctioned by the Grand American Road Racing Association. Rohr Racing has been notified by Grand American that it has been approved as a constructor for the 2008 through 2012 racing seasons.  Final approval was granted on January 17, 2008 and Rohr Racing is now actively pursuing financial backing. The Rohr R01 is a purpose built, closed cockpit, flat bottom race car designed to meet the Grand American's stringent Daytona Prototype specifications.  The chassis construction is a steel tube frame combined with aluminum semi-monocoque, while the body is constructed of fiberglass.  The car's design allows for any of the approved engines to be fitted into the car.  For more details about the Daytona Prototype and their specifications go to: www.grandamerican.com/daytona_prototype Rohr Racing is currently seeking financial partners for this endeavor.
